In the first ITA rankings of the 2022-23 season, UT Permian Basin Men's Tennis was well represented.  Takumi Katsuda was ranked No. 21 in the country while him and doubles partner Jonas Krahofer were ranked No. 19.

Katsuda heads into the spring season No. 2 in the South Central Region and is one of three Falcons in the top 20.  Patryk Kosinski placed ninth while Grzegorz Rudnicki was ranked 15th.  In doubles, Katsuda-Krahofer was No. 3 in the region.  Joining them at No. 5 is the duo of Paul Schweiger and Hector Flores and Rudnicki-Kosinski came in at No, 10.
