Christian Chavez had a stellar showing at the Mustang Derby, placing 15th.  It was the highest placement of the freshman's career.

Chavez led the Falcons to a 10th place finish as a team.  Noah Perez was the next highest finishing Falcon in 30th place with a time of 27:53.8.  Right behind him was David Cruz with a time of 27:59.6.  Jared Myers clocked in with a time of 30:31.6 while Alejandro Tecero rounded out the lineup at 35:35.8.  

On the women's side Odalis Lujan led the way with a time of 21:35.3.  Right behind her was Miranda Hernandez with a time of 21:37.1.  Amber Martin clocked in with a time of 21:51.5 while Alauna Stackhouse finished with a time of 22:05.7 and Yanitza Olivares finished at 23:16.0.  Rounding out the team was Kayla Cepeda with a time of 24:01.6.
