The remarkable run of freshman Takumi Katsuda came to an end in the ITA Regional Championship Finals on Saturday.  Katsuda fell in a three-set thriller 6-2, 0-6, 5-7.

The freshman started the day with another straight set in in the semifinals 6-4, 6-4 to reach the finals.  A day after reaching the semifinals in doubles with Jonas Krahofer, Krahofer also had a strong showing in singles.  He reached the finals of the cosolation bracket before falling 6-0, 6-3.
