Keyon Craddock followed with a jumper to keep the Falcons in front of the Buffs. The offense went cold from there as the Buffs pulled away. The Falcons made an 8-0 run in the second half after threes by
DaJuan Jones and Craddock and a layup by
Jordan Horn, but it was as close as the Falcons could get in the 85-55 final.
Jones led the Falcons with 12 points, including five from the free throw line. Craddock had 11 points and was 3-of-5 from deep. Howard finished with six points and six rebounds. Horn had eight points off the bench along.
