The Falcons
  • Jordan Horn continues to fill the stat sheet and bumped his scoring average up to 16.7 points per game.  DaJuan Jones and Miles Daniels also eclipse double digits, scoring 13.9 and 13.8 points per game respectfully.
  • Jones might already be one of the best point guards in program history.  Through 16 games the senior has 121 assists and has eyes on the program single season record of 153.  He has five games with double digit assists including 12 against Western Washington and St. Edwards.
  • Jones currently sits first in the country with his 121 assists and 10th in Assists / turnover ratio with a 3.46 mark.
  • This season the Falcons have buckled down defensively, allowing just 71.3 points per game.  The last time the Falcons allowed less than 70 points per game was the 2012-13 season in which they gave up 68.9.
  • Their last time out the Falcons were led by Horn's 16 points. Quinntez Grimes was right behind Horn adding a season high 15 points and collected a team high six rebounds.
  • The Falcons have played in plenty of close games this season. Nine of the 16 games have been decided by single digits, with two games decided by a single point.
  • The Falcons boast the fourth-best turnover margin in the LSC at +3.88.  The Falcons have forced the fourth most turnovers in the conference with 251 this season while only committing 187.
  • Horn is fifth in the conference in scoring with his 16.7 average per game. He is also seventh in field goal percentage shooting .473 from the field. Horn is sixth in shooting percentage from beyond the arc holding a .391 percentage.
  • Jones is first in the conference in assists with 121. He is tied for third in the conference shooting .897 from the free throw line. Jones holds the third spot in the conference in assist/turnover ratio at 3.5 and he is tied for fifth in steals with 24 on the season.
  • Daniels is second with 3.3 made threes per game. He is second in the conference in shooting percentage from three-point range with a .423 mark.
  • This will be the 12th meeting all-time between the Falcons and the Aggies. The Falcons have won the last seven games against the Aggies holding an 8-3 record against them all-time.
The Aggies
  • The Aggies are losers of five straight with all but one of their losses by double digits and their latest loss was by forfeit due to COVID protocols. The only loss by single digits was to Oklahoma Christian where they lost by nine.
  • Both of their wins are by single digits as they beat Colorado State Pueblo in their first game of the season and they beat Western New Mexico in overtime by five.
  • The Aggies big stat against them is their scoring margin at -9.5. They have allowed 690 points defensively this season while only getting 605 themselves. They are also negative in the rebounding department holding a -4.3 rebounding margin and they have a -3.0 turnover margin.
  • They play at their best when they hit and defend the three. They are .341 from beyond the arc whole holding opponents to .296.
