The Falcons
- Jordan Horn continues to fill the stat sheet and bumped his scoring average up to 16.7 points per game.  Miles Daniels and DaJuan Jones also eclipse double digits, scoring 14.7 and 13.8 points per game respectfully.
- On Monday, Horn became the 15th player in program history to reach 600 points for his Falcon career.
- Jones might already be one of the best point guards in program history. Through 14 games the senior has 115 assists and has eyes on the program single season record of 153. He has five games with double digit assists including 12 against Western Washington and St. Edwards.
- Jones currently sits first in the country in assists per game with 8.3.
- This season the Falcons have buckled down defensively, allowing just 70.7 points per game. The last time the Falcons allowed less than 70 points per game was the 2012-13 season in which they gave up 68.9.
- Their last time out the Falcons were led by Miles Daniels who went 7-for-13 from the field scoring 19 points. Kendal Frey added 17 points going 3-for-4 from beyond the arc and DaJuan Jones had 12 points and a team high seven assists at St. Mary's. Â Â
- The Falcons have played in plenty of close games this season. Eight of the 14 games have been decided by single digits, with two games decided by a single point.
- The Falcons boast the fourth-best turnover margin in the LSC at +4.43. The Falcons have forced the third most turnovers in the conference with 224 this season while only committing 162.
- Horn is fourth in the conference in scoring with his 16.7 average per game. He is also fourth in field goal percentage shooting .483 from the field. Horn is ninth in shooting percentage from beyond the arc holding a .396 percentage.
- Jones is first in the conference in assists with 115. Second place is at 85 assists and with two more games played than Jones has played this season. He is third in the conference shooting .918 from the free throw line. Jones holds the conference lead in assist/turnover ratio at 4.3 and he is tied for fifth in steals with 22 on the season.
- Daniels is tied for first with 3.6 made threes per game and is tenth in field goal percentage shooting .449. He is second in the conference in shooting percentage from three-point range with a .455 mark.
- Lemmie Howard is tied for tenth in defensive rebounds with 62 on the year.
- This will be the 19th meeting all-time between the Falcons and the Patriots. The Falcons have won three of their last five games against them including last year's overtime thrilling victory when the Patriots were ranked No. 11.
The Patriots
- The Patriots are 2-1 since coming back from winter break. They lost against Texas A&M - Commerce 73-64, but they have won their last two games. Â They beat St. Mary's, 82-71, and St. Edward's, 77-73, on their home floor.
- They have a 2-2 road record with both of those losses coming in their last two games.
- The Patriots most impressive win came against then No. 4 Colorado Mesa in their first game of the year, 63-56, in the Lone Star / RMAC Challenge.
- The Patriots big stat against them is their -6.1 rebounding margin. They have a total of 419 rebounds, but their opponents have 504.
- They play at their best when they create turnovers into scores. They have an 18.2 points off turnovers per game and keep their opponents to 10.9 points off turnovers per game.
