Analise Lucio not only had a monster game in Portales, but she also made history on the court. She is now third all-time in assists as a Falcon with 2,119. Lucio had 31 assists against Eastern New Mexico along with six digs, two blocks, and three kills.
The Falcons took an early 6-2 lead in set one and eventually led 10-5 before a Greyhound timeout. The Falcons led by as much as 17-9 before the Greyhounds made a comeback to make things interesting, but the Falcons prevailed and won the set 25-21.
In set two the Falcons took a commanding 12-1 lead and did not look back as they coasted to win it 25-10.
The third and final set of the match both teams came out firing as the Greyhounds took a 5-4 lead. The Falcons started a 10-1 run powered by three aces by
Sara Antic as the Falcons won the set 25-16 and the match in straight sets.
Isela Murillo and
Aquincia Strambler led the match with 10 kills each. Antic had four of the Falcons eight service aces.
Daylee Doggett had a match high 18 digs with two service aces.
Taurie Magee led the match with three blocks and had six kills on the offensive side.
