Aditya Iyer has been red-hot of late for UT Permian Basin Tennis and that trend continued on Friday as he cruised to wins in singles and doubles play against Cameron.  Iyer teamed up with Paul Schwieger for a 6-4 win in the No. 1 doubles slot, then took the No. 2 singles match 6-0, 7-6.  He has now won four straight Lone Star Conference matches in singles and doubles.  
 
The doubles point came down to the wire.  The Falcons took the No. 1 while the Aggies took No. 3 setting up the No. 2 match as the rubber match.  In a back-and-forth nail biter, the Aggies came out on top 7-6.
 
The Falcons looked to rebound in the singles portion of the match.  Iyer cruised to take his in straight sets while Jorge Garcia won in the No. 3 spot 6-1, 6-4.  In the final match on the court, Lorenzo Lopes took a second set tiebreaker to win 6-4, 7-6.  It wasn't enough as the Aggies took the other three singles matches for the 4-3 final.
 
On the women's side, the Falcons took one of the three doubles matches.  The duo of Lea Mjertan and Lore Mewis took care of business at the No. 2 spot winning 6-2.  While the Falcons couldn't take any of the singles matches, Krystal Smith, Maria Briones, and Monika Cantu were able to make things interesting taking five points from their opponent.
