With just over one week left in the regular season, UT Permian Basin Men's Tennis pushed Division I New Mexico State in matches everywhere on Saturday.  The Falcons took at least four points in four sets and refused to back down from the DI opponent.
 
The Falcons played tight in all three doubles matches.  They got the best push at the No. 3 spot from the duo of Fernando Siqueria and Lorenzo Lopes, but they couldn't quite hold on and fell 6-4.  In singles Jorge Garcia nearly pulled off the upset.  After dropping the first set 6-3, Garcia pushed the second set to a 7-5 tiebreaker but couldn't pull it off.  Roberto Garcia pushed his first set to 6-4, while ITA UTR National Player of the Week Aditya Iyer took three points in the first set of his match.
