Alexis Popham made her presence felt against the No. 1 team in the country as she scored a career-high 15 points against Lubbock Christian on Friday night in the Falcon Dome.  The junior had been out with an injury since early January.
 
The Falcons trailed by five heading to the second quarter. Popham scored 10 of her 15 points in the second quarter as she made all but one of the team's baskets in the quarter. Avalon Munoz scored the first points for the Falcons in the quarter then Popham scored 10 straight including back-to-back threes to keep the Falcons in the game going into the locker room for the half.
 
Alexus Quaadman made back-to-back layups in the third quarter of play. She also made back-to-back baskets in the fourth quarter as well.  The Falcons battled until the end, but the three-point shooting of the No. 1 team in the nation made the difference in the 74-43 final.
 
Popham was perfect from beyond the arc going 3-3 and shot 50% (5-10) from the field. Morgan Helgesen led the Falcons with eight rebounds and two steals. Lauren Stallworth led the Falcons in assists with two. The Falcons as a team shot 85.7% (12-14) from the free throw line.
