Jordan Horn continued to fill the stat sheet on Saturday, finishing with 16 points for UT Permian Basin Men's Basketball at Texas A&M International. Horn scored 10 of his 16 in the first half of play and leads the team with 16.9 points per game through seven games. Horn wasn't the only Falcon to score in double digits as
Dajuan Jones and
Kendal Frey each added 11.

After the Dustdevils took an 8-0 lead to begin the game,
Zavon Godwin hit a layup to put the Falcons on the board at the 17:24 mark. Horn then hit back-to-back threes to make it a two-point game. Jones then hit back-to-back jump shots to start a 6-0 run at the 5:14 mark bringing the Falcons to within three. Back-to-back threes from the Dustdevils helped give them a 34-28 advantage going into halftime.
Â
In the second half, the Falcons cut the deficit to one on a
Miles Daniels layup early. Moments later Horn tied things at 42. The Dustdevils built a 10-point lead with 4:15 to go before the Falcons started a comeback. The Falcons closed on a 9-0 run and had a chance to win the ball game in the final 10 seconds. Jones drove to the rim and fought through contact, but the ball went halfway down before rolling out for the 59-58 final.
Â
Jones led the Falcons in assists with seven and tied with
Kendal Frey with four rebounds to lead the team. Frey was 3-for-5 from three-point range and 4-of-7 from the field.
