Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Five Finish in Double Figures in Offensive Explosion

The UT Permian Basin Men's Basketball offense was cooking Friday night in Odessa, scoring 112 points against Randall University as five players finished with at least 10 points.  Jordan Horn led the way with a season high 24 points while DaJuan Jones had 17 points and 10 assists for his fourth double-double of the season.  Miles Daniels added 17 points along with seven rebounds while Kendal Frey and Max Warren each chipped in 14 points.

The Falcons started scoring from long range early as Frey and Daniels buried back-to-back threes.  A bucket by Lemmie Howard gave the Falcons a 10-point lead before the first media timeout.  They built a 15-point lead before the Saints got back in the ballgame with a 9-0 run.  It was all Falcons from there as Warren made back-to-back baskets to spark an 11-0 run to put things out of reach.

Both teams caught fire in the second half as they combined to hit nine of the first 10 shots.  The Falcons stayed hot from there as Horn converted on a three-point play before hitting a three to stretch the lead to 24.  Both teams stayed hot down the stretch, combining to shoot .611 for the second half.  The Falcons led by as many as 34 before settling for the 112-86 final.

The 112 points shattered the previous season high of 86 for the Falcons, as was the team's 15 made threes.  The Falcons were perfect from the free throw line going 13-of-13.
