UT Permian Basin Women's Basketball's offense came to play Wednesday, recording a season high in points in an afternoon tilt with the University of the Southwest. Three Falcons reached double digits on the day.
Alexus Wykoff led the team with 19 points, going 9-for-10 from the field.
Ally Haman collected a career high 16 points going 4-for-8 beyond the arc, on her birthday, while
Morgan Helgesen was one rebound from a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

Haman put the Falcons up on their first basket with a three. The Mustangs grabbed a 7-6 lead before it was all Falcons from there. They ended the first on a 13-3 run to put them ahead 19-10 after a quarter.

Avalon Munoz and
Holly Hemmeline got the scoring started for the Falcons in the second quarter. Munoz hit a three and Hemmeline hit a jumper to start a 13-2 run. The Falcons ended the quarter on a 9-3 run to go up 43-20 at the half. They continued to pull away in the second half for the eventual 83-41 victory.Â

The Falcons scored 17 or more points in each quarter while shooting 50 percent from the field. They also forced 30 Mustang turnovers including 17 steals.
