The Falcons controlled the game right from the start. With things tight, the Falcons caught fire with a 6-0 run. Later in the set, three Mustang errors and an ace were part of a 6-1 run to close it out in favor of the Falcons. Set two was much more back and forth. The Mustangs led early, but a small Falcon run swung momentum. Both sides struggled to get the momentum, but it was the Falcons who took it first with a four-point run. They used that cushion to take the second set.
Set three was much of the same but late it was the Mustangs up three. The Falcons tied the game on a 4-1 run before forcing match point. The Mustangs held the Falcons off three times, but the Falcons were too much eventually taking it 28-26.
Daylee Doggett once again finished in double figures with digs, recording 12.
Taurie Magee was a force up front with seven kills and five blocks. The Falcons had four aces on the night, including one by Strambler to finish the night.
