Four Finish in Double Figures in Showdown Between Six-Win Teams

UT Permian Basin used a balanced scoring attack with four in a match-up of two of the winningest teams in the Lone Star Conference.  Jordan Horn once again led the way with 13 points and Fermandez Jones added a season-high 11 of the bench but it wasn't enough as the Falcons fell 82-64 to RV Texas A&M - Kingsville.

The Javelinas (7-1) started hot and jumped out a eight-point lead just minutes into the game.  The Falcons (6-3) kept fighting but struggled to find their rhythm on offense.  Every time they made a run, the Javelinas answered with a run of their own to push the lead further.

The offensive woes continued in the second half as the Falcons trailed by as many as 30.  Horn heated up late in the second half.  Wiht a seven point burst with an Adam Rivera layup sandwiched in the middle.  Trevion Lamar knocked down a jumper and Horn scored four more to cut into the lead.  The offense outburst was too late but the Falcons outscored the Javelinas 17-6 in the final eight minutes.

Lamar and Quinntez Grimes added 10 points a piece.  Lamar led the team with five rebounds.

The Falcons return home for a showdown with No. 3 West Texas A&M.
