Devin Ferrari used his speed to lead the Falcon offense Sunday, swiping a pair of bags and scored a pair of runs.  Twice, the junior stole third and came around to score after an errant throw on the attempt.  It wasn't enough as teh Falcons fell in the series finale 9-4.

Ferrari scored the first two runs of the afternoon for the Falcons (5-13) and the team led 2-1 after four.  After the Rattlers (9-9) scored two in the top of the fifth, the Falcons answered with a pair of their own. Garrett Thornton singled through the right side scoring Pemron Burrows. Lincoln Choate later scored on a Ferrari single to left to give the Falcons a 4-3 lead.  The lead wouldn't hold as the Rattlers scored in the sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth innings to pull away in the late innings.

Choate and Ferrari each had two hits for the Falcons.  Tanner Rhodes fanned six in 6.1 innings as the starter.

Next up for the Falcons will be an away series with Eastern New Mexico starting March 6.
