Freshman
Rory Carter broke out for 17 points, the second most in her Falcon career, as they took on No. 1 Lubbock Christian on Saturday. It wasn't enough as the Falcons fell 94-49.
The Falcons (5-7, 3-4) fell behind early but a three by
Jada Berry and baskets by Carter and
Holly Hemmeline kept things close. Unfortunately for the Falcons the Lady Chaps (11-0, 7-0) got hot offensively closing the quarter on a 17-2 run. Carter had nine of her 14 first half points in the second quarter before the Lady Chaps pulled away in the second half.
Hemmeline finished with nine points while Berry chipped in eight points.
Jordan Rogers was the leading scorer off the bench with seven points.
The Falcons are back home Thursday as they take on West Texas A&M before facing Eastern New Mexico on Saturday.
