Alexus Quaadman recorded her second career double-double posting 12 points and 11 rebounds along with two blocks as the Falcons played their first game of 2020.  The Falcons won the turnover battle forcing 19 Angelo State turnover while only committing 12.  It wasn't enough as the Falcons fell 74-45 as the offense struggled to get going.

The Falcons (6-6, 3-3) kept pace in the first quarter with the Rambelles (7-3, 4-2).  Yazmin Batch started things off knocking down a three and Quaadman followed with a bucket to get the team going but they fell behind early.  Trailing by nine, Rory Carter hit a three and Jordan Rogers followed with a jumper to get back in the game.  Jada Berry hit a three and Quaadman hit a lay-up to close the quarter to keep the deficit at six.  Baskets by Berry and Rogers early in the second made it 25-21 but it was all Rambelles from there as they pulled away with a 14-0 run to close the half.

The Falcons closed the game outscoring the Rambelles 17-7 over the final 10 minutes of action.  Carter finished the night with eight points and Batch had her best game in orange and white scoring eight points and pulling down eight rebounds in her third straight start.

Saturday the Falcons are back in action as they take on Lubbock Christian (No. 1/2) starting at 1 p.m.
