2018 All-LSC First Team Member
Skyler Friel had her breakout match of 2019 Tuesday night as UT Permian Basin Volleyball closed out it's non-conference schedule with a 25-23, 25-11, 25-14 sweep of University of the Southwest in Hobbs, N.M.
Friel recorded a season high 11 kills on the night to lead all players. Her attacks came on just 13 attempts with only one error to hit an amazing .769 on the night.
Freshman
Grace Talbert was involved in six blocks on the night as UTPB totaled 11 total blocks as a team in the three-set victory.
Isela Murillo and
Stephanie Sanchez added five kills each for the Falcons, Sanchez on .444 hitting Tuesday night.
Megan Ashton led the team with a match-high 19 digs, and
Analise Lucio had 20 assists for UTPB.
The Falcons kick off Lone Star Conference play Friday night, traveling to Silver City, N.M. to face off against Western New Mexico.
