UT Permian Basin tennis split a pair of matches Friday against Dallas Baptist, with the men winning 6-1 and the women dropping a 6-1 contest.

The Falcons earned the doubles point by a 6-4 win from Raul Stevens and Jordan Minjoot at #2 doubles, and a #3 doubles victory of 6-2 by Juan Diego Ruiz and Marcos Silva.

The Falcons took all but one of the singles matches. Stevens on 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 at #2 singles, while Enrique Sanchez won the #3 singles match 6-2, 6-0. Juan Diego Ruiz won 6-2, 6-4 at #4 singles, Felipe Diaz took a 7-5, 6-2 win at #5 singles, and Jorge Garcia won 6-1, 6-4 at #6 singles. 

Amelie Saint-Dizier took a win for the UTPB women, defeating Claire Nguyen at #1 singles 6-2, 6-2.
