UT Permian Basin volleyball fell in three sets Saturday afternoon at Angelo State in an 18-25, 20-25, 14-25 loss in San Angelo, Texas.
Marissa Aguilar and
Travana Matthews led the Falcons (10-9, 5-6 LSC) in attacking for the second straight match, each recording six kills on the afternoon. Matthews hit .500 on the afternoon, committing just one error on 10 attempts.
Sarah Vasquez led all players in the match with 15 digs on the afternoon while
Megan Ashton added another 11 digs.
Analise Lucio had 23 assists on the day to lead the Falcons.
Anna Graham had 11 kills for the Rambelles (16-4, 9-1) to lead all players on the day as Angelo State out-hit the Falcons .304 to .082 on the afternoon.
UTPB is back in action this week Tuesday night, traveling to Lubbock, Texas, for a non-conference match against Lubbock Christian.
