Cameron held UT Permian Basin women's basketball to just 18-58 shooting on the night as the Aggies defeated the Falcons 70-50 in Lone Star Conference play Thursday night in Odessa.
Cameron held a sizable 52-28 rebounding advantage on the day and shot 50 percent or better from the field in each half.
Kayla Bretherton led UTPB with 12 points and four assists on the day, while
Jasmine Spriggins came off the bench to hit all three of her 3-point attempts for 11 points.
Jamie Bonnarens had 20 points on 8-12 shooting for Cameron to lead all scorers, hitting 3-5 from 3-point range. Lejha Smith added 15 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double for the Aggies.
UTPB continues Lone Star Conference play in 2018 Saturday afternoon, tipping off against Midwestern State at 2 p.m. at the UTPBÂ Gym.
