Box Score UT Permian Basin women's soccer opened its 2017 campaign on the road, dropping a 4-0 non-conference match Thursday afternoon against Lubbock Christian in Lubbock, Texas.

The Lady Chaps opened up the scoring in a big way, getting three goals in under four and a half minutes from Kate O'Gara, Hollie Windham and Audra Park to lead 3-0 at 19:54 into the first half.

Brittany Guthrie added a fourth goal for LCU late in the game, scoring with just 15 seconds remaining.

Chenoa Crites had seven saves in net for the Falcons, facing 11 shots on goal, while Lauren Marenco had a pair of shots for the UTPB offense.

The Falcons are home for the first time this season in two days, taking on Wayland Baptist at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon in Odessa.
