It was the team-leading eighth goal of the season for Jefferson, while Munson stayed right behind her with seven goals. Munson has totaled five goals, including a pair of braces, during the Eagles' current five-match undefeated streak.

In addition, all three goals were assisted upon as Munson got the assist on the first goal of the match by Jefferson while Jefferson also notched her third point of the day with the assist on the final goal by McIntyre.

For UTPB, Breanna Reagan tied with Munson and McIntyre for the match-high with three total shot attempts.

Delgado made her first save of the match less than two minutes in, and then UTPB fired two shots in the first 15 minutes of the match as Reagan missed wide left in the fourth minute and Hadley Kelly missed high right in the final seconds of the 15th minute.

The Falcons' only remaining shot of the first half came as the second attempt by Reagan was blocked away in the 33rd minute, and then Delgado responded with two more saves in the final nine minutes of the opening period.
