Tarleton State took all four games this weekend over UT Permian Baseball, defeating the Falcons 14-2, 8-6, 8-7, and 16-1 in Stephenville, Texas
The Falcons and Texans played to a pair of close games Friday afternoon, with Tarleton State scoring eight runs in the bottom of the sixth in the opener to come back from a 6-0 deficit to defeat UTPB 8-6.
TSU came back after trailing 4-2 with three-run innings in each the fifth and sixth innings in game two for an 8-7 win.
Tyler Houlihan led the Falcons with three RBI on the weekend, while
Doug Clapperton,
Mike Fernandez and
Chris Ortega each drove in a pair of runs. Clapperton led UTPB with three runs scoredd and
Daniel Andrade,
Alex Fernandez,
Randal Toribio and Ortega each scored twice.
UTPB is back home next weekend for a four-game set against Texas A&M - Kingsville
