UT Permian Baseball pounded out 17 runs behind 19 hits and six walks Tuesday night as the Falcons left Alpine with a 17-6 victory over Sul Ross.

Six different Falcons ended the night with at least two hits and 13 players recorded at least one hit on the night.

Dalton Drury and Jackson Pritchard each had three RBI on the day; Drury a pinch hit double with the bases loaded in the eighth to clear the bases and Pritchard a pair of doubles in the first and second that drove in all three runs.

Doug Clapperton led UTPB with three runs out of the leadoff spot as one of 13 players to cross home plate.

Nate Dominguez earned the victory out of the bullpen. He tossed 2.1 scoreless innings, striking out a pair while giving up a hit.

UTPB is back at home this weekend, hosting New Mexico Highlands in a three-game set Friday and Saturday.
