The Falcons, trailing 2-0 after a two-run home run in the top of the second, broke out for a six-run fifth-inning to take a four-run lead. The Falcons got an RBI single from Tyler Houlihan and tied the game when Doug Clapperton scored on a wild pitch. Jackson Pritchard gave the Falcons the lead on a two-run double, and Alex Fernandez added a pair of runs to the lead with his two-run double into right.

UTPB weathered a pair of runs by Highlands in the sixth and grabbed one back when Randall Toribio scored on an error.

Chris Cano settled down after giving up two runs in the first. The senior SP pitched four more scoreless innings, ending his outing with five innings of two-run ball while giving up four hits and a pair of walks.  He hit a pair of batters and struck out four on the afternoon.

Logan Owens earned his first save of the season. He allowed a pair of base runners while striking out the side in the bottom of the seventh to wrap up the game.

Houlihan went 2-4 at the plate with a run and RBI, while Pritchard and Fernandez each drove in a pair. Toribio led the Falcons with a pair of runs scored.
