UTPB Baseball walked off for the second straight day after a pair of big innings Saturday afternoon, tying the game against Rogers State in the bottom of the ninth before winning in the 10th 6-5 at Roden Field.
Trailing 5-3 with just three outs remaining, the Falcons put a pair on to lead off the bottom of the ninth when
Doug Clapperton singled to center and beat the throw a batter later as
Ryan Souza reached on a fielder's choice as Rogers State was late attempting to get the lead runner out at second.
Jordan Zazulak tied the game two batters later, roping a two-out single to left center to score both base runners to even the game at 5-5.

Batting in the bottom of the 10th after RSU walked the leadoff batter in its half of the inning but left him stranded at first,
Bryan Van Vranken was hit by a pitch to lead off the frame. Pinch runner
Latrell Harris stole second and moved 90 feet away on a sacrifice bunt.
Morgan Munguia was safe on a ball just inside the third base to put runners on the corners, and Clapperton came through with a one-out sacrifice fly that was deep enough to right to allow Harris to score from third for the 6-5 win.
Zazulak was 3-5 on the afternoon, previously hitting a solo shot home run over the wall in left that tied the game at 1-1 in the 6th.
Garrett Lloyd earned his second win of the season, throwing 1.1 scoreless innings and issuing a pair of walks.
Both starters went six strong innings at Tyler Kruse gave up one run on six hits without issuing a walk for Rogers State, and
Chris Cano allowed a single run on five hits and four walks with six strikeouts for UTPB.
The Falcons are back on the road next weekend for three games at UA Fort Smith in Fort Smith, Ark.
