UT Permian Basin men's basketball trailed the entire first half and was never able to recover Friday afternoon in suffering a 79-62 against Southeastern Oklahoma State in Kingsville, Texas.
SEOSU led by as many as 19 points as part of a five point run at the line late in the first half and held a 42-25 lead over the Falcons.
The two teams both scored 37 points in the second half as 
James McPherson led UTPB with 10 points and a pair of three-pointers.
Josh Morris led the Falcons with 14 points on 6-11 shooting with six rebounds. McPherson ended the night with 13 points and three 3-pointers, and Zeldrick King added 11 points. 
Sammy Allen led UTPB with seven rebounds.
