Shooting struggles hampered UTPB men's basketball Saturday afternoon as the Falcons suffered a 93-67 loss against UA Fort Smith at the Stubblefield Center in Fort Smith, Ark.
The Falcons hit just 28 percent of their field goal attempts on the night as the Lions held them below 29 percent from the field in both halves.
Johnnie Lacy led all players in the game with 30 points for UTPB, including a 7-16 night from behind the arc.
Anthony Knight added 15 points for the Falcons on a 6-9 day from the floor.
Seth Youngblood scored a game-high 22 points for the Lions. UA Fort Smith shot 51 percent from the field on the day, including 15-28 from 3-point range (53 percent) as four players hit double figures in points.
UTPB returns home next weekend, taking on St. Edward's Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
