UTPB men's tennis picked up a non-conference win this past weekend, defeating Hardin-Simmons 6-3 Saturday afternoon at the Bush Tennis Center in Midland.

The Falcons earned wins at four of the six singles matches. Thomas Rice defeated Ben Gutierrez 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 at the #2 singles position. Devon Douglis took #3 singles 6-4, 6-2 against Frankie Sanchez. Leo Luna knocked off BJ Farmakis 6-0, 6-1 at #4 singles and Caio Aguiar won #5 singles 6-0, 6-2 gainst Jordan WIlson.

UTPB won two of three doubles matches, with Aguiar and Rice winning #2 doubles 8-6 and Douglis and Josh Jones earning the #3 doubles victory 9-8 (11-9).
