UTPB Volleyball got off to a fast start Thursday night against Lubbock Christian, but the Lady Chaps turned it around quickly in sending the Falcons to a 3-0 defeat.

UTPB started off hot in the first set, winning the first four points on serve and racing out to take an 8-2 lead. But Lubbock Christian regrouped and came back to score the next 17 points, racing out to go ahead 17-8. The furioous comeback set the tone for the remainder of the match as the Lady Chaps picked up 25-14 wins in each of the three sets.

Caitlyn Guajardo had six kills on the night to lead the Falcons, while Ariana Gallardo had 19 assists and Marina Salazar 13 digs to pace UTPB in both categories.
