Box Score UTPB tied up Saturday afternoon's Heartland Conference women's soccer match just seconds before halftime, but St. Mary's came back after the intermission to score the final two goals of the day in a 3-1 defeat at the UTPB Soccer Field.

Trailing 1-0, Sarah McPherson scored her first of the year, beating a pair of Rattler defenders to clean up a loose ball in the box after a deflection with 10 seconds remaining in the first half to knot the game at 1-1.

St. Mary's came back with goals from Brittney Lacek and Kristal Williams off a pair of headers to claim the two-goal advantage.

UTPB keeper Ebony Campbell made 12 saves on the afternoon as St. Mary's held a 19-8 shot advantage.

The Falcons stay at home next week, hosting Oklahoma Christian Thursday evening at 7:30.
