UTPB volleyball was unable to give UA Fort Smith its first Heartland Conference loss of the season Saturday afternoon, falling 25-16, 25-21, 25-18 to the Lions in Fort Smith, Ark.

Three different Falcons led the team in kills, as Puava Tulau, Karlee Troeh and Caitlyn Guajardo each recorded five kills on the afternoon. 

Jordan McDonald and Marina Salazar tied for the team lead with six digs, and Ariana Gallardo and Taylor Black each had nine assists.
