Box Score Adams State scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 33rd minute and added a pair of scores after halftime as the Grizzlies blanked the UTPB women's soccer team 3-0 at the UTPB soccer field Sunday evening.

Dezirae Armijo grabbed the first goal of the game at 32:12 in the first half, taking the ball into the box down the left side before scoring.

Laci Jones doubled up the ASU lead shortly after halftime with her second goal of the season, and Hope Cruz added a third and final score in the 66th minute.

The Falcons are back on their home pitch Tuesday evening, hosting University of the Southwest to lead a doubleheader at 5 p.m.
