Box Score UTPB women's soccer held a ranked Angelo State scoreless for the first 52 minutes of action Sunday afternoon, but the 11th-ranked Rambelles scored three in the second half of a 3-0 defeat in San Angelo.

Loni Byers got Angelo State on the scoreboard at 52:41 in the second half, dribbling in from midfield for her fourth goal of the season.

Jenny Kotowych and Sierra Anderson added goals two minutes apart in the 76th and 78th minutes to tack on for a 3-0 lead late in the second half.

Ebony Campbell came up with nine saves on the day in net for the Falcons as Angelo State held a 25-4 shot advantage and placed 12 shots on goal to four by UTPB.

The Falcons are back on the pitch after a week off, traveling to Lubbock for their first conference game of the season at Lubbock Christian. Kick off on Oct. 6 is set for noon.
