Box Score UTPB Volleyball earned its third sweep in straight sets in 2014 Tuesday night, defeating University of the Southwest 25-15, 25-19, 25-23 in Hobbs, N.M.

Caitlyn Guajardo was one of 10 Falcons to record a kill on the night, leading the team eight. Rachel Dixon added six winners on nine attempts and Puava Tulau converted five of her six attempts for kills, hitting .667 on the night.

Whitney Wofford led the team for the first time all season with seven digs as 12 of 13 players to appear for the Falcons recorded at least one dig.

Ariana Gallardo had a match-high 18 assists for the Falcons.

UTPB is back home this weekend, hosting Lubbock Christian Saturday afternoon in Heartland Conference action. Match time is set for 3 p.m.
