The University of Texas of the Permian Basin women's soccer team fell behind 2-0 in the first half in its final game of 2013 before losing 7-0 against Dallas Baptist Monday afternoon.

Jessica Salas put the Patriots on top just 36 seconds into play in the first half, and Lea Sedwick added to the DBU lead in the 19th minute.

Dallas Baptist added five more scores in the second half, including a pair of goals back-to-back by Danielle Presley as six different players found the back of the net.

Brooke Saxton came close to scoring for the Falcons, taking a pass up the middle before her shot on net was blocked by the DBU goalkeeper.
