The University of Texas of the Permian Basin women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss against St. Mary's Monday afternoon at the UTPB Soccer Field.

Kristal Williams put the Rattlers ahead in the 27th minute, executing a give-and-go in the right side of the box with Sam Lara before shooting to the left of the net for the game's first score.

Amy Adkins added a second goal for St. Mary's in the first minutes after halftime, scoring from up close for a 2-0 lead.

Lynsie Shaw added a third score at 56:30, dribbling to the right side of the box and firing underneath a diving Bridget Esquivel for the final score of the contest.

Esquivel made eight saves in goal for the Falcons out of the 11 shots on net she faced.

The Falcons hit the road this coming weekend, taking on Rogers State Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
