Alyssa Riddle's fourth goal of the season proved to be enough Saturday afternoon as the University of Texas of the Permian Basin picked up its first Heartland Conference win in its final game of the season in a 1-0 victory at Newman in Wichita, Kan. 

Riddle's strike came in the second half at the 77:36 mark. She scored from in the middle of a pack of Newman defenders after taking a pass from Alyssa Eich.

The Falcons were able to hold off a Newman offensive attack that out-shot UTPB 21-12 on the day as both teams were able to get six shots on goal.

UTPB goalkeeper Victoria Ramirez recorded her second consecutive shutout in picking up the win, making six stops in 90 minutes of action. 

UTPB closed out the season with two straight wins after defeating Oklahoma Christian 2-0 this past Thursday.
