The University of Texas of the Permian Basin women's soccer team gave up a pair of goals in each half of a 4-0 loss against Dallas Baptist Saturday afternoon in the team's final home game of the season at the UTPB Soccer Field.

The team honored seniors Victoria Ramirez, Nicole Rodine, Alyssa Riddle, Mariah Cortez and Nicole Leffingwell in a halftime ceremony.

All four of Dallas Baptists' goals came in pairs, as Danielle Presley and Ashley Cox scored within two minutes of each other at 17:14 and 18:51 to give the Patriots a 2-0 lead at the half.

Lea Sedwich and Presley added two more at 67:06 and 70:14, doubling the DBU advantage out to 4-0.

Ramirez stepped up to make seven saves on the day as Dallas Baptist out-shot UTPB 24-3 on the day.

UTPB returns to action early in the week, traveling to Abilene, Texas, for a 1 p.m. Monday afternoon contest against McMurry.
