SAN ANGELO – Maggie Schaffer recorded a hat trick, scoring the first, second and fifth goals as Angelo State took a 5-0 victory over The University of Texas of the Permian Basin women's soccer team.
The Rambelles dominated the Falcons, taking 27 shots, including 18 on goal while holding UTPB to just three total shots on the afternoon, two of which were taken by
Hannah Dozier.
Alexis Frueh kept Angelo State at bay in the second half, picking up five of the 13 saves while allowing just one goal.
The Falcons will remain on the road as they will travel to Colorado to take on Adams State on Friday followed by a match against Colorado State-Pueblo on Sunday.
