2025 (First-Year):
Led the Falcons with 96 sets played as a rookie... Was one of five Falcons to play in all 27 matches, and was tied for second on the team with 25 starts... Was second on the team with 210 kills, 2.19 kills per set and 654 attempts... Was third on the team with 238 points and 2.48 points per set... Was fourth on the team with 17 service aces, was fifth with 197 digs and 2.05 digs per set, and was sixth with 19 blocks... Recorded double-digit kills in 10 matches, including a season-high 18 kills vs. Stanislaus State (Sept. 13)... Had a streak of three straight matches with double-digit kills twice during the season... Had double-digit digs in seven matches, including a season-high 13 digs in two matches, and had five double-doubles (kills & digs)... Had a streak of three straight matches with 10 digs (Oct. 11-Oct. 24)... Recorded her first double-double (10 kills, 11 digs) in her second collegiate match vs. Southern Nazarene (Sept. 5)... Led UTPB with seven kills in her third collegiate match vs. No. 23 Colorado Mesa (Sept. 6)... Notched her second double-double of the season with 10 kills and 10 digs in a 3-2 comeback win vs. Azusa Pacific (Sept. 12). She had four kills alone in the deciding fifth set against APU... Totaled 10 kills at Vanguard (Sept. 13), but led the Falcons with five kills on .364 percent hitting during the opening set... Led UTPB with a season-high 18 kills on .304 percent hitting vs. Stanislaus State. She also added a season-best 13 digs for her second double-double of the weekend in California. She had six kills in the Falcon's third-set victory and seven kills in the fourth-set victory to help force a fifth set... Grimes was pivotal in UTPB's 3-1 conference opening win over St. Edward's (Sept. 26), finishing second on the team with 13 kills while reaching three blocks for the first time in her collegiate career. She finished with six kills in the second set and was hitting .636 for the match after two sets, and earned a kill to win the match in the fourth set... Totaled 12 kills, half of which came in the final set, vs. St. Mary's (Sept. 27)... Finished with 10 kills, led the Falcons with three aces, was second on the team with nine digs, and was one of four Falcons with two blocks in the match in a 3-0 win at Cameron (Oct. 3). Grimes led UTPB with four kills, six digs and two aces in the first set alone against the Aggies... Had 12 kills and 10 digs while hitting .391 percent in a 3-0 win vs. UT Dallas (Oct. 11). Grimes totaled seven kills in the second set and had four kills in the third set against the Comets... Had five kills while tying for team-high with 10 digs at Angelo State (Oct. 18)... Had six kills and nine digs in a 3-1 win at Sul Ross State (Oct. 28)... Added 13 kills and 13 digs in a big 3-2 win over Eastern New Mexico (Nov. 1). It was her final double-double and final match with double-digit digs as a freshman... Added eight kills and two blocks and finished off the match with a kill on the final point in a 3-0 win vs. Texas A&M International (Nov. 14)... In the season-finale, Grimes was second on the team with 11 kills and had a part in three blocks during a 3-1 Senior Day win over Texas A&M-Kingsville (Nov. 15)... Named to the Fall 2025 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
