2024-25 (Junior):
Appeared in 17 matches her third year with the program... Totaled 3 wins in singles to go with 9 wins in doubles... Won her opening singles match vs Trinity McBride of Hardin-Simmons University (6-2, 6-0) on Sep. 13... Won her opening doubles match of the season with Fanny Bergstrom vs. A&M Kingsville (Sep. 18)... She partnered with three different Falcons on the season, her primary partner being Teodora Vrucan... At the ITA Championships (Sep. 20) she advanced in both singles and doubles to the round of 16... Secured a doubles win alongside Vrucan vs. No. 19-ranked LCU (Apr. 6)... Alongside Vrucan she secured another doubles match vs. No. 25-ranked UT Tyler (Apr. 26)... Played primarily from the No. 5 singles and the No. 3 doubles spots... Named to the Spring 2025 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2022-23 (Freshman):
Appeared in 15 singles matches for the Falcons and seven doubles matches, tallying seven wins during her freshman campaign… Made career debut for UTPB against Angelo State in singles… Won first career collegiate singles match against Seward Country Community College in straight sets (6-2, 6-0)… Made doubles debut against Texas A&M Kingsville… Won singles match against University of Arkansas Fort Smith… Earned a pair of wins against McMurry, teaming with Rhea Singh to earn first career doubles win 7-6 and completing a golden match (6-0, 6-0) in singles… Won doubles match with Viktoriia Sholudko (6-0) against Sul Ross… Finished freshman season with golden match singles win over Our Lady of the Lake (6-0, 6-0)... Named to the Fall 2022 & Spring 2023 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Before UTPB:
Originally from Stockholm, Sweden, Tuva Asplund attended Berlin International School before signing with the Falcons in the Fall of 2022. Asplund has a Universal Tennis Rating of 6.5 and was the 22nd ranked U16 in Sweden prior to moving to Berlin to attend school. In January of 2019, she made the quarterfinals of the SALK Open – a historic and prestigious international junior tournament held in Sweden.
