2024-25 (Sophomore):
Played the Fall season... Played all of her doubles matches in the Fall with Paige Bott... Was 2-1 in both singles and doubles at the Hardin-Simmons Cowgirl Classic (Sep. 13-14). Bowe was UTPB's lone player with a winning record in singles in the first tournament of the season, with both of her singles wins coming in the No. 5 spot against HSU and DBU. UTPB's lone win in singles against Dallas Baptist came from Bowe with a 6-3, 6-1 decision over Isabella Quintero. In doubles, Bowe and Bott were 2-1 at No. 2 doubles, defeating HSU and STMU. Bott and Bowe defeated Alessia Terlizzi and Janel Ospanova 8-4 for the Falcons' only win in any match vs. St. Mary's... Advanced to the round of 16 of the Singles Flight A Back Draw and the Doubles Flight A Main Draw at the ITA Championships (Sep. 19-21). In singles, Bowe defeated Caini Wang (Western New Mexico) 6-2, 6-2 in the round of 32. In the doubles round of 32, Bowe/Bott won 8-4 over Jenna Payne/Isabella Quintero (Dallas Baptist)... Was injured and spent the Spring season as a student assistant coach... Named to the Fall 2024 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll... Earned 2025 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award.

2023-24 (Freshman):
Won her first collegiate singles match vs. Hardin Simmons (Feb. 3)... Primary doubles partner was was Brooke Runyan… Alongside Runyan they defeated the No. 13 doubles pairing in the country and defending ITA Fall Regional champion from Dallas Baptist by a score of 6-2 at No. 1 doubles (Mar. 21)... Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete... Named to the Fall 2023 & Spring 2024 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Before UTPB:
Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, Mattea Bowe joined the Falcon women’s tennis team as a decorated high school player at the 6A level... Playing for James Madison High School, Bowe won UIL District and Regional competitions before placing third in doubles at the UIL 6A State Championships... She won doubles at the district and regional competitions playing with her sister, Mya, who is also a highly-recruited tennis player... The Bowe sisters were named SA Express News’ Girls Tennis Athletes of the Year for 2022... Mattea finished her high school career as the 28th ranked player in Texas according to tennisrecruiting.com... The three-star prospect was the highest-rated recruit in UTPB tennis history (men's or women's).
