2026 (Junior):
Named to the 2026 LSC Preseason Players to Watch list for position players... Named Second-Team All-LSC... Was one of two Falcons to start in all 50 games this season. He started 34 games at third base, 13 at catcher and three at first base... Hit .373 with 44 runs, 66 hits, 20 doubles, four home runs, 35 RBI's, 98 total bases, 17 walks, four hit by pitches, a .433 on-base percentage and a .554 slugging percentage in 177 at-bats... Led UTPB in doubles and was also second on the team in batting average and slugging percentage... Led UTPB with 13 multi-RBI games this season, was second on the team with 22 multi-hit games, and had 11 games with a least two runs scored... Had UTPB's longest on-base streak this season at 19 games (Feb. 13-Mar. 14)... Was top-three on the Falcons in defensive chances (179), putouts (114; ranked 2nd) and assists (52), and posted a .927 fielding percentage... Helped turn three double plays in one game vs. St. Mary's (Apr. 17)... Recorded two hits in each of the first three games of the season, hitting .500 (6-12) against No. 12 Angelo State to open the season... Then hit .400 (6-15) with five RBI's against Texas A&M-Kingsville and led UTPB in hits for the second time in its first three series of the season... During the first two games against Cameron, Chavez was a combined 6-for-7 on the day with five runs scored, three RBI's, two walks, a home run and a double. He hit a combined .533 (8-15) against the Aggies and added seven runs, six RBI's, a .632 on-base percentage and a .800 slugging percentage for the series... Chavez later hit .583 (7-12) with six runs scored and a .643 on base-percentage in UTPB's series sweep vs. Sul Ross, and went 3-for-3 with three runs scored in the final game... Lastly, Chavez hit .545 (6-for-11) with four runs scored, four walks, two doubles and a home run while also adding a .667 on-base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage in the final series of the season at Lubbock Christian.

New Mexico Highlands (2024-2025):
As a sophomore he started in 31 of 33 games and hit .358 with 23 runs, 39 hits, six doubles, six home runs, 32 RBI's, 11 walks, three hit by pitches, a .427 on-base percentage and a .578 slugging percentage across 109 at bats... As a freshman he hit .338 with 32 runs, 51 hits, 17 doubles, two doubles, three home runs, 35 RBI's, 22 walks, three hit by pitches and five stolen bases.

El Dorado (HS):
First-Team All-District, All-State, Team Captain... Team was District and Bi-District Champs.
