2024-25 (Fifth-Year):
Was named the LSC Newcomer of the Year and First-Team All-LSC... Named Second-Team D2CCA All-South Central Region... Also named to the 2025 Lone Star Conference Athletic Performance All-Conference Team... Appeared in 29 games and started in all but one of them... Led the Falcons with 16.8 points per game (486 total points), 50 steals, 158 made field goals, 75 made 3-pointers and 95 free throws made during her lone season at UTPB... Was second on the team with 99 assists.. Also averaged 3.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game... Shot 158-of-434 (36.4 percent) from the field, 75-of-220 (34.1 percent) from three and 95-of-121 (78.5 percent) from the free throw line. In addition to shooting just over 50 percent of her 434 total shot attempts from beyond the arc, Rushton attempted 4.2 free throws per game... Scored at least 20 points in 10 games, including in seven straight games from February 1 to February 22... Was 20th in all of NCAA Division II in made 3-pointers, 24th in 3-pointers per game (2.59), 64th in points (486), and 65th in points per game... Also led the LSC in 3-pointers made per game and was second in made threes, third in points per game, fourth in 3-point field goal percentage, sixth in assists per game, seventh in total steals and free throw percentage, and eighth in made free throws... In her lone season with the Falcons, she moved herself into the UTPB record books with single-season rankings of third in points (486), fourth in field goals made (158) and tied for sixth in made 3-pointers (75)... Scored a season-high 38 points and made eight 3-pointers in UTPB's 87-79 victory over Texas A&M-Kingsville on December 7, 2024. Rushton went 8-for-10 from beyond the arc in the win, adding five assists, two steals, and three rebounds. In addition, Rushton's 38 points were the third most in program history, were the most scored in a game since 2012 and were the most ever for UTPB against a Lone Star Conference opponent. For her effort, Rushton was named the LSC Offensive Player of the Week for the week and was later named UTPB's Edgardo Madrid & Associates Women's Student-Athlete of the Month for December... Had other season-highs of 10 rebounds at West Texas A&M (Feb. 6), eight assists vs. Adam's State (Nov. 30), and five steals vs. Angelo State (Nov. 23)... Finished with 23 points after shooting 12-for-13 from the free throw line during her Senior Day vs. Texas Woman's (Feb. 22). Rushton would score 20 points within the first 24 minutes of the game. It was her seventh game in a row with 21 or more points. In addition, Rushton has gone a combined 23-for-25 from the free throw line over the last two games... Was named to the Fall 2024 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Concordia:
Played for four seasons at Concordia (Neb.)... Played and started in 34 games... Was named an NAIA Second-Team All-American with the Bulldogs in 2023-24... Named First-Team All-GPAC on four occasions... Finished second in her conference in scoring in 2023-24, averaging 15.2 points per game on 42.8% from the floor and 36.7% from beyond the arc... Additionally averaged 3.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.9 steals per game that season... Totaled 1,924 total points, 348 assists, 407 rebounds, and 213 steals over her career with the Bulldogs... Has Program all-time career rankings of second in made 3-point field goals (290), third in points scored (1,924), 10th in assists (348) and 18th in steals (213).Â
