Biography

The University of New Orleans (2024-25):
Played in 16 games with one start, averaging 6.4 minutes per game... Was 9-for-27 (33.3 pct.) from the field and 4-for-9 from the free throw line... Totaled 22 points (1.4 avg.), 17 rebounds (1.1 avg.), five steals and one block... Made her lone start of the season and played a season-high 17 minutes at UAB (12/18/24).

Lake Michigan College (2022-23 - 2023-24):
Started in 45 of 47 games played, totaled 939 points and shot 48.0 percent (373-377) from the field, 16-for-67 from 3-point range and 177-for-288 from the free throw line in her two seasons... Started all but one of her games in each season and shot above 46 percent from the field and had the same free throw percentage each year... During her final season she led the way with 30 points, 19 rebounds and seven assists in Lake Michigan's conference-opening overtime win at Glen Oaks (1/20/24)... As a freshman she led the way with 24 points and 18 rebounds in an overtime win over Kankakee (11/11/22)... Shot 77 percent in the paint and scored 17 points in a win against Andrews (11/17/22)... Scored a double-double with 19 points, 19 rebounds and four blocks in a tough win vs. Milwaukee Area Technical (11/19/22)... Shot 55 percent (10-18) from the field with 27 points, 24 rebounds and five blocks against Glen Oaks (1/21/23) en route to being named the MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Week and the NJCAA Player of the Week for her performance...  Shot 41 percent (10-24) from the field and led the way with 27 points and 22 rebounds in a win at Lansing (1/25/23) to be named the MCCAA West Conference Player of the Week for the second week in a row... FRESHMAN YEAR: Averaged 16.4 points and rebounds per game... AWARDS(2022-23): All Tournament Team, NJCAA All region team, All-MCCAA Award, First-Team All-Western Conference, Western Conference All-Freshman Team, and Freshman of the Year... SOPHOMORE YEAR: Averaged 23.2 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks per game... AWARDS(2023-24): First in defensive rebounds, total rebounds, and rebounds per game, received player of the week five consecutive times, second in blocks and points per game, Third-Team All-American, First-Team All-Western Conference, Western Conference All-Defensive Team, NJCAA All Region Team, All-MCCAA, MCCAA First-Team All-Western Conference, and MCCAA Western Conference All-Defensive Team.

High School:
Also competed in track & field.

Personal:
Father, Sherell Ford, averaged 23 points and 7 rebounds as a senior at Proviso East High School (Maywood, Ill.) and led the Pirates to the IHSA 1991 Class AA State Championship. He played college basketball at UIC from 1992-95 and was Horizon Conference Player of the Year in 1995. He was the first round pick of the NBA Seattle SuperSonics in 1995 and was the 26th player taken overall. He played overseas for eight different teams between 1999-2006 (Greece, Russia, Lebanon, Poland, Israel, Argentina, Turkey, and Chile).
