Named to the 2025 LSC Preseason Players to Watch list... Played primarily from the No. 4 singles and the No. 3 doubles spots... Was one of four Falcons to secure double-digit wins in both singles and doubles... Was 12-4 overall in singles, including records of 5-0 at No. 2 singles and 7-4 at No. 4 singles, and was 13-6 overall in doubles... Was a combined 11-3 in doubles with his partner, Lucas Nitzschke, as the pair went 10-3 at No. 3 doubles... In the LSC, Gonzalez Ibanez was 4-3 in singles (3-3 at No. 4 singles) and was 5-2 at No. 3 doubles with Nitzschke... Was 3-0 at No. 4 singles and was 2-1 with at No. 1 doubles with Jonas Krahofer at the Hardin-Simmons Cowboy Classic (Sept. 13-14)... Was seeded No. 3 and advanced to the semifinals of the Doubles Flight A Main Draw alongside Krahofer at the ITA South Central Regional Championships (Sept. 26-28)... Went 2-1 in both singles and doubles in a weekend where the Falcons played Harding (Feb. 22), Delta State (Feb. 23) and No. 17th nationally-ranked Mississippi College (Feb. 24)... Defeated the No. 31-ranked singles player in the NAIA 6-1, 7-5 at No. 3 singles in a match at the No. 9-ranked team in the NAIA, Our Lady of the Lake (Mar. 10), during Spring Break... Clinched UTPB’s 5-2 win over No. 15 Midwestern State with a three-set win at No. 4 singles... Won in both singles and doubles in back-to-back matches against Midwestern and No. 47 St. Mary’s (Apr. 5)... Earned a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles over Lubbock Christian in the LSC Semifinals (May 2)... Teamed with Nitzschke to earn a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles and help give the Falcons the doubles point against in the NCAA Division II South Central Region Men's Tennis Championship against LCU (May 9)... Named to the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll... Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete... Earned 2025 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award.
Cowley College (Kan.) 2023-24:
Helped Cowley win the NJCAA Division I National Championship in 2023... Appeared in 25 matches on the season for Cowley in 2024… Held a singles record of 19-4 with a 83 percent winning percentage… Had a doubles record of 22-3 with a winning percentage of 88 percent… He was the ITA Central Regional runner-up in both singles and doubles and qualified for the ITA CUP in doubles with partner Omar Suarez, placing third… Ranked 3rd in doubles and 6th in singles to end the Fall season... Cowley would finish as the 2024 national runner-up while Gonzalez Ibanez won the national doubles championship with Suarez at No. 3 doubles and was the national singles runner-up at No. 6 singles.
