2025-26 (First-Year):
Competed in 18 matches during the Spring season, and played in singles in all 18 of those matches... Was 4-13 overall in singles (1-0 at No. 2 singles, 1-0 at No. 3 singles, 2-11 at No. 4 singles, 0-2 at No. 5 singles) and was 4-11 overall in doubles (3-7 at No. 1 doubles, 1-2 at No. 2 doubles, 0-2 at No. 3 doubles) in dual matches during the Spring season... Played his most doubles matches with Nehal Naidoo (3-7 at No. 1 doubles)... In conference play, he was 1-6 in singles (1-5 at No. 4 singles, 0-1 at No. 5 singles) and 1-5 in doubles (0-3 at No. 1 doubles, 1-2 at No. 2 doubles)... UTPB swept the doubles action against Hardin-Simmons (Mar. 21), being paced by a 6-1 win by Chothani/Naidoo over Payne Smith/Gabriel Harris in the top spot... Earning a win in doubles to start off the day vs. St. Mary's (Apr. 10) was Chothani and Lucas Nakasato with a 6-2 defeat over Nikita Gavrilonoks/Louis Hein... During the Fall season, Chothani earned one singles win during his debut at the StMU Kimbell Memorial Invitational, defeating Joao Santos (OLLU) by a score of 6-3, 7-5... Was one of two Falcons to advance to the quarterfinals in the singles back draw at the ITA Regional Championship. In a matchup between two Falcons in the round of 16, Chothani defeated Enrique Silveria 6-3, 6-4. Then in the quarterfinals, Chothani lost 6-3, 6-2 against eventual champion Santiago Ledesma (Cameron). In the doubles main draw, Chothani/Andrew Hunsley defeated Juan Luis Aguirre/Edward Shteyn (UT Dallas) 8-7 (7-1) in a tiebreaker before falling 8-2 to No. 8-seed Jordan Georgiev/Andres De Los Rios Kolejewska (Lubbock Christian) in the round of 16... Won third place in his respective draw (Flight 3) at the TAMUT Eagle Invite. In Singles Flight 3, Chothani defeated Fabio Veiga Del Trigo (TAMUT) 6-3, 6-2 in the quarterfinals but fell 7-5, 6-4 to Yarin Aebi (OBU) in the semifinals. He bounced back to defeat Rodrigo Hoppe (UAFS) 6-4, 6-0 in the 3-4 Playoff. Meanwhile, in Doubles Flight 3, Chothani/Philipp Gaurieder defeated William Von Pongracz/Andreas Gabriel Seidel (SAU) 8-4 in the quarterfinals before losing in the 3-4 Playoff... Named to the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
